The GVHD Alliance is empowering voices in the Graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) community to increase awareness and help improve the lives of people living with GVHD.

While a blood stem cell transplant offers hope for a cure, complications like graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) can seriously affect a patient’s health and recovery. GVHD occurs when donor cells attack a person’s organs and/or tissues.

For years, several organizations have been working to make meaningful differences in the lives of people diagnosed with GVHD. Together, as the GVHD Alliance, we’re ready and able to make a bigger impact than ever before.  In addition to raising awareness about this major chronic illness, the GVHD Alliance helps patients feel empowered, connect with other people, and gain control over their care and wellbeing while living with GVHD. The GVHD Alliance is committed to supporting every person, in every community, throughout their experience with GVHD.

The GVHD Alliance is a collaboration between all member organizations and Sanofi.
